About the event
A Festive spin on the standard Make it Your Space Workshop...we will look a bit more at styling your home for every day and how to give it a little more umph for a fun festive season.
Why we created the Workshop:
Your home is yours. Your space to share, and your story to display. As an Interior Designer, I am here to empower you to bring it all to light! I will lead you to your own awesome path to plant your feet upon, so you can see your vision through! I help cut through ALL the confusion our Pinterest days bring and collaboratively, we will find a unique definition to a particular Space in your home. Â
What we do in the Workshop:
We go back to basics by establishing your style, teaching you and discussing Design Processes, and how to analyse your own space. Taking your new-found knowledge, we create a moodboard - or rather a visual guide to illustrate your thoughts and ideas, focusing your future purchases/decisions for your space. Â A moodboard is like a plan and a reference to confirm if a newly discovered piece, fabric or colour you love, will actually work in the space as a whole. You always have to start with a plan!
Our Special Location:
M74 is a small Scottish contemporary furniture company. Our forest workshop and high street showroom are located less than 3 miles apart, in the beautiful Historic Burgh of Linlithgow, near Edinburgh. Using sustainably sourced hardwoods and leathers - and applying over half a century of combined design and artisanal cabinetmaking experience - our skilled team creates considered, timeless and finely crafted furniture, which will endure for generations. Our showroom also proudly stocks a carefully curated selection of British-crafted homewares.
Our Special Guest:
I'm Louise and I've always got some project or another on the go. I'm happiest pottering in the garden with my family, foraging or designing at the kitchen table. Every year I make fresh wreaths with whatever the season has to offer and in 2017 I started selling them... From this, Birch & Bloom was born.
Whilst I'm passionate about foraging and using fresh blooms, I wanted to translate this passion into something which people could keep forever. I design and handmake floral hoops for weddings, for the home and for gifts. Currently obsessed with dried flowers.
